Try juggling a job at M and a budding career in football; Lingerie Football to be specific. Our resort is home to our very own Lingerie Football League (LFL) player, Kandice Golar. By day she's a star concierge at our resort helping guests create memorable getaways and on her days off she's hitting the turf with the ladies of the Las Vegas Sin. We caught up with our concierge Kandice to get the full nine yards on her hospitality and sports careers.

How long have you worked at the M?

I've been working for M for a little over a year now.

What's your favorite part of being a concierge?

Being a concierge is such a rewarding job. It gives me the chance to interact with and help people from all walks of life and people from all over the world. I'm able to assist guests with fantastic ways to celebrate a special event or meaningful occasion in their life. Whether it's ordering chocolate strawberries and champagne to flowers and balloons, I enjoy assisting our guests with making their stay at M special, romantic and more memorable.

What's the most unique request you've gotten so far?

Shaquille O'Neal needed long, black dress socks within hours. Not realizing until after I spoke with him that he wore a size 23 shoe, I knew I had some calling around to do. It was a daunting task but I was able to get him his socks just in the nick of time with the help of a seamstress.

How do you juggle playing for the LFL and working at M?

I'm able to handle both jobs with the help of my very understanding and awesome Management Team and Team Members at M!

Kandice (left) tackles an opponent on the Chicago Bliss.

How did you get in to playing for the LFL?

A friend of mine thought I would be interested in the LFL after she received an email about tryouts for the team they were forming in Las Vegas. At first I the thought the LFL was going to be similar to powder puff football that I had played in high school. But after doing some research on the league, I saw that it was full contact, tackle football. I was very excited about the opportunity and decided to tryout. I haven't looked back since!

Did you always have an interest in playing sports?

I've always been interested in sports even at a young age. My parents always kept me very active in various types of sports while growing up. I played club, high school and college soccer. After college I began competing in figure competitions. I really enjoy being active and I just love to compete.

What's your LFL position?

I play both wide receiver and corner for the Las Vegas Sin.

How long have you been playing for the LFL?

This is my first year playing in the LFL and I LOVE it! This is also the first year for Las Vegas to have a LFL team. It's a great feeling to be part of a team especially during their first year!

What tips would you give to girls wanting to play for the LFL?

Anyone can be taught the basics of football. Just make sure that you have some type of athleticism. It's important to be in-shape and be prepared to train hard.

Do you have any other unique hobbies?

Aside from the LFL, I compete in figure competitions and I also enjoy snowboarding.

On the heels of their first victory, Kandice's team the Las Vegas Sin beat the Chicago Bliss 32-20 in their debut game. You can see Kandice and the other ladies of the Las Vegas Sin play in their first home game on November 11 at the Orleans Arena against the L.A. Temptation.

We always like to offer you the best-of-the-best when it comes to our property; (especially gaming, we are a casino after all). You may have heard about our Buffet winning a 'Best in Las Vegas' Award as well as our lovely M Girl Cocktail Servers winning the same. But, today we're talking sports; sports betting to be specific.

Our Race & Sports Book at M is always ahead of the curve (or line for that matter). Our Sports Book was the first in the US to offer ‘in-running’ betting and wagering on live sporting events. So, for you non-regulars in the sports betting world, you're probably wondering what exactly 'in-running' is. Don't worry, we're always here to help and give you the edge (edge is the person who has the advantage in sports betting; learn more sports betting lingo here.)

'In-running' wagering let's you make bets during sports game. Our Race & Sports Book Director explains it best.

"'In-running' betting allows players to wager on live sporting events during the actual flow of the game. So once a game kicks off, you will be able to wager on things like who will win the game (with an adjusted money line as the score changes) and the over/under."

Even better, you don't even have to get out of your seat on the casino floor to participate in 'in-running'. Thanks to Cantor Gaming, our Sports Books is equipped with their nifty mobile betting e-Deck devices. The eDeck devices are a one-stop-shop for all your betting needs. Not only can you bet on the big game but you can also play some of your favorite casino games at the same time.

Now if only the eDecks worked in our Buffet… Hey, we can dream can't we?

To top it all off, our Cantor Gaming Sports Book has another cool feature, 'Inside Wagering'. Inside Wagers is a line within a line.

Patrons can place wager offers for the Inside Wager event at a reduced commission.

Once the time expires for an active Inside Wager, all the bet offers are fully accepted, partially accepted, or fully rejected by the Cantor Race & Sports Book. This allows our Race & Sports Book to offer greater bet options, better lines, and reduced fees through Inside Wagers.

Does all this sound too good to be true for you sports betting dreams? Try it out yourself or give one of our eDecks a test drive at our Race & Sports Book.

It's back to basics at the M Resort's Vig Deli. Stuffy sandwiches and fancy names are nowhere to be found on this classic menu of made-to-order deli favorites. Designed with the consummate bettor and sports buff in mind, the Vig offers views of the sports book screens, eliminating the headache of long lines during the mad dash to refuel at halftime. If you like to reminisce about games you saw, races you watched and teams that "shoulda been," you'll find the walls covered in some of the greatest sporting lists from Triple Crown winners to football's elite.

Far from just a sports book snack bar, the Vig Deli is a destination eatery in its own right. Featuring traditional deli staples such as meatball subs and hot pastrami, the Vig also impresses with hand-tossed pizzas and homemade chili and soups. You can conveniently order by the numbers for a quick snack, sweet treat or hearty meal.

Check out the Vig Deli essentials that Vig Deli Chef Tom Monsoor can't live without:

#32 Club: Hefty helpings of turkey, corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut and provolone stacked high between layers of marble rye.

#37 Spaghetti & Meatballs: Three tasty homemade meatballs flank a healthy portion of spaghetti topped with our rich marinara. Soak it all up with two slices of fresh garlic bread.

#14 BBQ Beef: A pile of top brisket slathered in BBQ sauce and served on a homemade roll.

#24 Grilled Chicken Pita Wrap: Gotta have a little something healthy too right? We take a 9" pita and stuff it with grilled chicken, onions and mushrooms and top it with a slice of provolone.

Located next to the race and sports book, the Vig Deli is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 a.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 a.m.
