We’re Stirring Things Up…New Restaurants Coming Soon!

On Thursday, we announced construction will begin soon on a new restaurant. And if you’re planning a visit our resort in the next few days, then you’ll know construction really is starting since you likely see our construction wall up.

We’re looking forward to the new restaurant being the home for the winner of Food Network’s newest culinary reality show, Restaurant Express. Hopefully, you caught the premiere episode this past Sunday and if not, you can view episodes here and vote for who you think should be our executive chef here.

Now, you might be thinking, what happened to Marinelli’s? Fear not, you will still be able to get your fill of Italian cuisine at Marinelli’s Pasta Bar which will open Nov. 14. The Pasta Bar will be located in place of Anthony’s Oyster Bar. And Oyster Bar fans, you also have nothing to worry about as many of the items from the Oyster Bar menu will be available in Anthony’s Steakhouse. Win-win-win for everyone!

We think Marinelli’s Pasta Bar will be a great addition to our culinary offering, keeping Italian cuisine available for you, but delivering it as a casual, fresh and fast dining option. Yes, it’s a different environment than the fine dining atmosphere of Marinelli’s, but we think it’s one that fills a need – a need for a dinner option that’s not too quick, like our deli, but not fine dining, table service, like Anthony’s.

The 35-seat pasta bar will let you watch the chefs (and smell the amazing food!) as they create signature Italian fare. Items that will be available include antipasti, chicken, seafood entrees, desserts and of course, pasta dishes. Marinelli’s Pasta Bar will be open Sunday-Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 11 pm.

Stay tuned for more info on our new restaurant, and mark your calendars for Marinelli’s Pasta Bar opening Nov. 14. We’ll be ordering the Linguini & Clams.
