More than Just Green Beer
How do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Maybe it involves green beer and a shot of whiskey or two, but with the right opportunity, it can be so much more! This St. Patrick's Day, we're here to spice up your holiday, M style! Join us on Saturday, March 17 for Rock the Shamrock, a one-of-a-kind whiskey tasting extravaganza!
Here's the best part: all whiskeys, specialty cocktails and beers are unlimited, so we hope you come thirsty! A variety of over 70 whiskeys will be available to enjoy and sample throughout the evening. Although we're focusing on whiskey, we haven't left out amazing specialty cocktails and a selection of St. Patrick's Day beers!
What's an event without themed food bites? Our chefs are whipping up Irish culinary creations to accompany your whiskey tastings. Festive foods like; corned beef brisket, beef barley soup, mini sheppard's pie and chicken wellington will be served. We've also added a few unfamiliar creations like colcannon (an Irish potato salad) with stout braised shrimp and boxty (potato griddle cakes) with smoked salmon. Be sure to save room for sweets because we'll have a dessert bar with your choice of pecan tartlets, Bailey's chocolate mousse pies and much more.
We know how to party at M, and our entertainment for the evening, Barry Black knows how to keep the crowd going. Black is a young acoustic singer/songwriter highly influenced by the sounds of the classic soul era. Despite his respect for the past, his live performances are a virtual mash-up of every genre, from New Jack Swing to Classic Country. A feel-good party vibe follows him wherever he goes.
Whiskey and cigars go hand in hand, so naturally we will have a cigar terrace for guests to enjoy a variety of cigars that pair perfectly with their selection of whiskey.
Tickets for Rock the Shamrock are available by calling 702.797.1878 or in person at the M Casino Cage. For more information please visit: http://www.themresort.com/promo/rock-the-shamrock.html.
